Earning Unlimited Fish Bucks

After countless hours of feeding and selling my fishes, I finally found a way to earn fish bucks without spending your hard-earned cash. However, before going into detail, I pledge that each player should at least donate a few $dollar$ to GameView Studio as a way of thanking them for a great Tapfish experience. (Note: DONOT try this with the free spin since Tapfish has a mechanism to track that you has used it and will not allow a repeat spin.)

The concept is to take advantage of the "Win Daily" Jackpot Spin to win fish bucks. You probably know by now that everytime you spin the jackpot, there are different rewards that you randomly get such as decoration objects, background, and fish bucks. Sometime the objects and backgrounds are cool; but we are after the fish bucks. So far I have seen the amount varied from 5 to 30 fish bucks. In our case, we aim for at least 25 bucks simply because it costs us 25 bucks to spin. Therefore, if you spin and don't receive at least 25 fish bucks, just simply restore the game, then spin again. If you receive what you wanted, quit the game to save your session, then repeat again until your earned enough or get tired. The routine is Spin, either restore game (to undo) or quit game (to save), Spin, either restore game (to undo) or quit game (to save), etc...

Step 1: Make sure your game session is in a good stage (fishes fed, sold, etc). Now quit the game. This will serve as your last know good restore point. Tapfish automatically save your session every time you exit the game.

Step 2: Tap the "Win Daily" on bottom right corner or your tank. Tap the "Jackpot Spin" and confirm that you are willing to spend 25 fish bucks. (Note: DONOT try this with the free spin since Tapfish has a mechanism to track that you has used it and will not allow a repeat spin.)

Step 3: After a second, it will show you what you have earned.

Step 4: If you don't receive at least 25 fish bucks as the reward, simply restore the game, then repeat Step 2-4 until you get what you wanted. To restore the game: Open the "My Aquarium" menu and tap on the "About Tapfish" on the bottom left corner of the menu. If you don't know where is the menu, refer to my earlier post: Beating spin-to-win mini game.html.

Step 5: If you receive at least 25 fish bucks or get what you wanted, then simply exit the game so that your current session is saved. Again, the routine is Spin, either restore game (to undo) or quit game (to save), Spin, either restore game (to undo) or quit game (to save), etc...

Step 6: Repeat Step 1-5 as much as you like to earn more fish bucks or get cool prizes.

Updated 11/8: Couple of people have tried my technique but not seeing the 30 fish bucks payout from the Jackpot spin so I include the photo as a proof that it's still there; but might take around 20 tries or so. Also, I have been getting 25, 26, 28, 29 fish bucks also.

Beat Mystery Lab to win Breeding Trophies

Everyone knows by now that the Mystery Lab is rigged and would not give you all the breeds you need to win the breeding trophies. I have been waiting for the "Spotted Tail Cardinal" but it seems impossible. Well, you can see that my tank is full of duplicated cardinals when I tried to do it the normal route.

Here is how you can beat the system to get what you wanted. You will need to spend 12 fish bucks. Thank you to Kathleen Harvey for the update Info in the comment section, you WILL NOT need to spend 12 fish bucks. Basically, you will need to use the Peek 'n Restore Method. Don't forget to catch my post on Earning Unlimited Fish Bucks to help you make all the fish bucks that you will ever need.

Step 1: Make sure your game is in a healthy state (all fishes are fed, etc). Now close the game. Tapfish will save your game session, which includes (cleaning, feeding, etc) once you close the game. Now, Open the game again.

Step 2: Open your Mystery Lab Tank and put in the parent fishes that you would like to breed and tap "breed". Since it is a mystery tank so you NORMALLY won't know what kind of bred you will get until 3 days later; which often would turned out disappointing to get a duplicate bred from what you have before or among the current batch. Well, we will work around that in this trick. Now close the game. Tapfish will save your game session, which is specific to breeding the parents once you close the game.

Step 3: Now, Open the game again. Tap the "Speed Up" button. Once you have confirmed, Tapfish will APPEAR to deduct 12 fish bucks and shows you the bred. Don't panic, restore the game and your fish buck will be credit back. Basically, what you have done so far is speed up the breeding, take a peek to see what kind of bred you are getting and then restore the game up to the "Speed Up" action so your fish bucks are refunded.

Step 4: If you don't see the bred you like then just "cancel" the breeding tank and repeat Step 2-4 until you get the bred you like. I tried 15 times to finally get my trophy. To restore the game: Open the "My Aquarium" menu and tap on the "About Tapfish" on the bottom left corner of the menu. If you don't know where is the menu, refer to my earlier post: Beating spin-to-win mini game.html.

Once you got all the breeds for a particular category, Tapfish will award you some fish points that you can claim. In the case of the Dancing Cardinals, the reward 10 fish bucks. There are other Limited Breedable Prizes worth 15 fish bucks.

Last but not least, you can use this technique to peek into all of your Mystery Tanks to make sure you are not getting any duplicate within the batch (I like to breed all the tanks at once). Have fun breeding!

Beating The Spin-To-Win Mini Game

Tap Fish incorporates a mini game called "Spin To Win" that is accessible at the main screen. The purpose of the game is to allow players to buy random premium fishes for cheap (12 fish bucks instead of the normal 30 fish bucks). The drawback is that you can get the same fish multiple times thus ends up to be costly. Here is how you can acquire all of those Spin-To-Win fishes with the lowest possible fish bucks.

Step 1: Go ahead and spin for your first fish. It's not necessary to wait for the cost of the spin to go on sale; but patience will pay off. Currently, it costs 8 fish bucks per spin instead of 12.

Step 2: Once you got the fish, go ahead and feed it, then quit the game so that your game session is saved. Every time you quit the game, it will be your last recovery point if you plan to restore the game (in this case undo your spinning).

Step 3: Open the game again and make another spin. If you get a new kind of fish then repeat step 2 to save the game. If you get the same kind as your previous spin(s), simply restore the game session and spin again. To restore the game, tap on the "About Tap Fish 2" icon on the bottom right corner of the "My Aquarium" menu screen. Once you are on the "About Us" screen, tap on the "Restore Game" button. Choose the first restore point and confirm.

Step 4: If you keep on getting the same kind of fish, just restore the game session then spin again. You can repeat step 2-3 until you have acquired all the fishes from the Spin-To-Win mini game.

That's it! Have fun spinning. I can't wait for Tap Fish to add more payouts to the spin game. Hopefully, they don't change the app logic :)
